Peter is a co-founder at DrivenData, a data science consultancy whose mission is to bring the power of data science to the social sector. DrivenData builds software that uses data and artificial intelligence for non-profits, NGOs, and governments. Recently Peter and DrivenData have been working to define key performance indicators for measuring commercial success and social impact for off-grid solar and using data to identify important industry trends. He is particularly excited about opportunities for new remote-sensing and IoT data in the sector. Outside of off-grid solar, other recent projects include AI for lung cancer diagnosis, anti-human-trafficking, crop yield modeling, and digital financial services for rural populations. He earned his master's in Computational Science and Engineering from Harvard. Previously he worked as a software engineer at Microsoft and earned a BA in philosophy from Yale University.
