Radhika is based in Nairobi where she oversees Corporate Affairs for Greenlight Planet. Greenlight Planet operates the world's largest direct-to-consumer, pay-as-you-go (PAYG) solar product distribution business, with 3,000 company-managed sales agents in five countries, selling 30,000 solar products to off-grid consumers each month with financing. Greenlight’s line of solar-powered products includes lighting, home energy systems, phone chargers, radios, and fans, televisions. Over 8 million households use Sun King solar products for light and device power each night and reaches over 5,000 new homes each day. Greenlight Planet partners with a network of more than 100 distributors, including 40 micro-finance institutions, to reach off-grid communities in 62 countries. Radhika joined Greenlight Planet’s Mumbai office in 2009 to expand the company's presence to African and other Asian markets before moving to Kenya in 2012 to launch its flagship office in Africa. Prior to joining Greenlight, Radhika built a career in business development and consulting in the healthcare sector in the United States. She also served as an Americorps VISTA volunteer focusing on public education reform in New York City and holds a BA in International Relations from Tufts University. Radhika also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of GOGLA.
